D-backs’ offense picks up bullpen again

PHOENIX — For the third time in five games, the D-backs’ struggling bullpen blew a ninth-inning lead. However, none of those blown saves prevented the fans at Chase Field from going home happy.
Arizona notched another walk-off win when Brandon Drury scored on a wild pitch in the bottom of the 11th in Friday night’s 4-3 win over the Reds, despite Daniel Hudson blowing a save opportunity in the ninth and Enrique Burgos allowing Cincinnati to take the lead in the 10th.
“The goal is to win games,” Drury said. “You can’t do anything about it, you’ve just got to go keep battling and pick your teammates up. That’s what the name of the game is, and we’re going to keep on doing that.”
On Monday, Burgos gave up a one-run lead in the ninth against the Braves. …
