Dwyane Wade Comments on Death of Cousin in Chicago Shooting

Nykea Aldridge, the first cousin of Chicago Bulls guard Dwyane Wade, was shot and killed on the South Side of Chicago on Friday afternoon, according to WGN-TV. She was 32 years old.
Citing police, NBC 5 Chicago reported Aldridge was “apparently the unintended victim of a gang shooting.” She was reportedly pushing a stroller when two men approached another man and started to exchange gunfire.
“She wasn’t bothering anybody, just going to register her kids in school—and bullets that fly around have no name decided to find its way to her head,” said pastor Jolinda Wade, Dwyane’s mother.
