Barclays Golf 2016: Friday Leaderboard Scores and Highlights

With two rounds of the Barclays in the books at Bethpage State Park in Farmingdale, New York, Patrick Reed holds the 36-hole lead after posting a three-under 68 on Friday to bring his overall score to eight under par.
Reed has a two-stroke lead over a pair of golfers, Emiliano Grillo and Rickie Folwer.
Here is how the leaderboard is shaping up for Saturday’s third round:
Reed shot out to a brilliant start Friday, reeling off four birdies on his first seven holes to quickly drop his overall score to nine under.
He slowed down and collected a trio of bogeys on Nos. 8, 16 and 18 to hinder his day, although he did manage to birdie Nos. 13 and 17 to limit the damage.

However, his two-stroke lead could have been a five-stroke lead had he kept his round clean.
Both Grillo and Fowler posted two-unders Friday to sink their respective scores to six under for the tournament.
Fowler managed to keep his scorecard clean in Round 2 but could muster only a pair of birdies on Nos. 2 and 7 to hop up just one spot on the leaderboard.
