Defending champion and top seed Novak Djokovic is favored to win his third U.S. Open title when action gets underway at the USTA Billy Jean King National Tennis Center next week in New York.
Djokovic is listed at +100 (bet $100 to win $100) while second seed and 2012 U.S. Open winner Andy Murray is right behind him at +180 at sportsbooks monitored by Odds Shark. Murray is coming off a win at Wimbledon in July and followed that up by taking home his second straight gold medal at the Rio Olympics.
Djokovic met Murray in an epic U.S. Open final four years ago, with the latter winning in five grueling sets after blowing an early 2-0 lead.
