ST. LOUIS – The St. Louis Blues named Alex Pietrangelo as the team’s 21st captain in a press conference on Thursday afternoon at Scottrade Center.
Immediately, social media lit up with messages of congratulations (including from former captains David Backes and Bob Plager) and even a good jab from former Blue Carlo Colaiacovo. Here are some of the tweets we saw after the announcement:
