Smith taunts Canelo over GGG

Liam Smith has stoked the fires ahead of his world title defence against Saul Alvarez by claiming the Mexican deliberately avoided Gennady Golovkin.
Alvarez is returning to the super-welterweight division to challenge for Smith’s WBO title in Dallas on September 17 but the Liverpudlian champion believes the Mexican lost the respect of some fans for failing to agree a clash with WBA Super, WBC and IBF world middleweight champion Golovkin.
