Pulis: No panic before deadline

Tony Pulis is convinced he can deliver the signings that West Brom fans crave before Transfer Deadline Day.

Pulis has spoken publicly of the need to strengthen and has said that he wants to add five players to his squad.

With just five days left until the transfer window slams shut, the West Brom boss is confident he has time to bring in the players he wants, adding his transfer record should offer Baggies supporters some reassurance.

“I’m not going to panic and bring a load of players in to satisfy people out there and then, after two weeks, they say they are no better than what we’ve got,” Pulis said ahead of the Super Sunday visit of Middlesbrough, live on Sky Sports 1.

“I still think I’m getting them (the five players). I have been at the club for two years and we have re-signed a lot of players who were under contract, but I have also said we need new impetus.
