Sean Grieshop Leads American Charge at Junior Pan Pacs With Gold In 400 Medley

It was a big night for the United States as the Junior Pan Pacific Championships continued in Hawaii, the tandem of Sean Grieshop and Charlie Swanson leading the charge. Grieshop and Swanson occupied the top-two positions in the 400 individual medley, their respective times of 4:16.05 and 4:17.37 besting the competition by a sizable margin.
Grieshop and Swanson weren’t the only gold-silver sweep for the U.S., though. With Lilly King and Katie Meili going gold-bronze at the Olympic Games in the 100 breaststroke, there’s no lack of firepower in the American arsenal in the event.
