River Plate vs. Santa Fe: Score, Reaction from 2016 Recopa Sudamericana Leg 2

River Plate claimed its second straight Recopa Sudamericana crown with a 2-1 win over Santa Fe on Thursday night.
Thursday featured the second and final leg of the competition. Santa Fe, last year’s Copa Sudamericana champion, and River Plate, the winner of the Copa Libertadores, battled to a goalless draw Aug. 18.
River Plate, which hosted the second leg, quickly ensured there would not be a repeat of the first leg as Sebastian Driussi put the Argentines up 1-0 in the third minute.
