Mexico erupts to avoid elimination in LLWS

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — Wednesday’s Little League World Series action began with a pair of elimination games. In the first contest, Mexico crushed Australia, 10-0. The convincing, four-inning mercy-rule victory sent the Aussies home and placed Mexico in an International bracket semifinal match against the loser of Wednesday night’s Panama-South Korea tilt.
