Robbie Keane has been included in the Republic of Ireland squad for their friendly with Oman and the World Cup qualifier against Serbia.
Keane will have the chance to add to his national record of 67 goals when he lines up against Oman at the Aviva Stadium on Wednesday, August 31 in what could be his international swansong.
The 36-year-old LA Galaxy striker, who earned his 145th cap during Euro 2016 earlier this summer, is reportedly set to make an official announcement regarding his future with the national team later this week.
Fellow veteran John O’Shea has also been selected but the Sunderland man will be assessed with fellow defender Seamus Coleman (ankle) and midfielder Jeff Hendrick (hamstring) when they report for duty on Sunday, August 28.
