Hearn: Price must earn AJ shot

Eddie Hearn has confirmed Anthony Joshua will not be defending his world heavyweight title against domestic rival David Price in November.
Price (20-3-KO17) returned from a 10-month absence to stop Vaclav Pejsar in the second round at Goodison Park in May and has called for a shot at IBF king Joshua (17-0-KO17), who he claims he once knocked out during a sparring session.
The identity of Joshua’s second challenger remains a mystery but promoter Hearn dismissed Price’s chances and reiterated that the race to face the Londoner is between Kubrat Pulev, Bermane Stiverne and mandatory challenger Joseph Parker.
Hearn told Sky Sports: “We have a lot of people to satisfy. We have the UK fight fans, worldwide fight fans and we have an American broadcaster as well.
