Young fan injured by foul ball leaves hospital

CHICAGO — The girl who Freddy Galvis struck in the face with a foul ball Saturday night at Citizens Bank Park is out of the hospital and recovering at her South Jersey home.
She had been initially evaluated at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Siena Eden, 9, and her parents appeared on NBC-10 on Tuesday evening. Eden received stitches and suffered broken teeth. The incident prompted Galvis to give an impassioned plea for Major League Baseball to put up protective netting down the left- and right-field lines.
