Kershaw reports no issues after throwing Tuesday

LOS ANGELES — Clayton Kershaw had no problems to report after throwing off a mound Tuesday for the second time since his setback, but also no confirmation that he’s headed to a 100 percent comeback this season.
Kershaw threw approximately 50 pitches in the Dodger Stadium bullpen, using breaking balls and simulating sequences he would use against hitters. As far as a next step, the ace said he would throw another bullpen or face hitters for the first time.
If this all sounds familiar, it’s because Kershaw is approaching the same point he had his setback when he was first trying to rehab his herniated disk. When asked if he had any doubt he would return this season, Kershaw didn’t make any guarantees.
