Yanga hoping for winning sign-off

Tanzania’s will be hoping to climax their campaign on a winning note when they travel to Lubumbashi as guests of DR Congo side on Tuesday.
Yanga departed for Lubumbashi on Sunday, three clear days to the ultimate Group A fixture with the hope to avenge the 1-0 defeat on the first duel in Dar es Salaam last June, a result which formed the basis of their inability to qualify out of the group.
Mazembe have already qualified for the semi final and has 10 points, despite succumbing to a 3-2 defeat to Ghana’s in the penultimate clash a fortnight ago in Sekondi. Yanga sit at the depth of the standings with four points after managing only a win and a draw in five games.
However Head Coach, Hans Van der Pluijm believes that they can outplay Mazembe away and bow out with some pride. …
