Manchester City Transfer News: Latest on Claudio Bravo, Wilfried Bony Rumours

Claudio Bravo’s proposed move to Manchester City will reportedly be completed once Barcelona sign Ajax star Jasper Cillessen, who is said to have agreed to a deal and will join the club during the coming week. Meanwhile, West Ham United are eyeing a loan move for Wilfried Bony until January.
According to the Sun’s Richard Forrester, Ajax want Cillessen to play in the UEFA Champions League play-off match against Rostov before they’ll allow him to join Barcelona, paving the way for Bravo’s move to the Etihad Stadium, which should be completed by the end of the week.
The Catalans have already confirmed they’re working on a deal with the Citizens, per the club’s official Twitter account:

City manager and former Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola has opted not to use England international Joe Hart in goal to start the season, as the longtime starter isn’t a perfect fit for his system, which calls for the stopper to be adept at passing the ball.
The Blaugrana alternated between their two stars, Bravo and Marc-Andre ter Stegen, for the bulk of the 2015-16 season, and the latter is expected to assume the role of default starter once he returns from injury.
