DeGale: Groves is desperate

World super-middleweight champion James DeGale has goaded George Groves by claiming his old rival is “desperate” to face him.
Reigning IBF king DeGale (23-1-KO14) is hoping to secure a unification bout with WBC holder Badou Jack later this year and for now at least, is setting aside talk of a rematch with Groves.
‘Chunky’ told Sky Sports: “There will always be demand for me and Groves because it’s a genuine, true grudge match. He’s desperate now. They’re desperate.
