UFC 202 video: Shields discusses Diaz’s injury issues before McGregor bout

Jake Shields is Nate Diaz’s teammate, so naturally he believes that his guy pulled the fight out. But the Gracie fighter, when speaking to Submission Radio after UFC 202, definitely didn’t go overboard with it. Like the rest of us, he saw a close fight. He just believes his guy won:
“It was an amazing fight, first off. It was one of the best fights I’ve seen in a while. Secondly, I thought Diaz put on a close decision. I need to go home and re-watch it on TV. Watching it I thought it was close, but I thought Diaz pulled it out. But when a fight’s that close, there’s not much you can do.”
