Premier League Table: Results, Updated Standings from Sunday’s Week 2 Matches

Michail Antonio scored with five minutes to go to give West Ham United a first win in their Premier League debut at their new London Stadium on Sunday. Antonio’s goal beat a Bournemouth side reduced to 10 men in the second half when Harry Arter was dismissed for a second yellow card.
Earlier in the day, newly promoted Middlesbrough experienced derby delight when they won 2-1 at Sunderland thanks to an inspired performance from Cristhian Stuani.
Those results wrapped up the season’s second week, and the table already has a familiar look. Both Manchester clubs lead the way after investing heavily over the summer. Pep Guardiola’s City were big winners after Jose Mourinho’s Old Trafford debut in charge at United went smoothly.
A late Diego Costa winner at Watford means Antonio Conte and Chelsea are keeping pace at the summit. However, last season’s champions (Leicester City) and runners-up (Arsenal) find themselves at the wrong end of the table.
