Here’s a look at top prospects to watch in Sunday’s Minor League action:

Hitter to watch: Chris Shaw (Giants’ No. 3), Richmond vs. Harrisburg (12:05 p.m. ET on MiLB.TV)

Shaw homered, doubled and reached base four times on Saturday in Double-A Richmond’s loss to Harrisburg. The home run, a two-run shot in the first inning, was his 20th of the season and fourth in 45 games since being promoted from the Class A Advanced level. The 22-year-old first baseman has posted an OPS of .829 between the two stops, with 80 RBIs and 32 doubles in 117 games.

Pitcher to watch: Dillon Peters (Marlins’ No. 14), Jacksonville at Tennessee (5:05 p.m. ET on MiLB.TV)

Peters excelled in his first two starts for Double-A Jacksonville, going 2-0 with an 0.71 ERA in 12 2/3 innings. The 23-year-old left-hander has won seven straight starts between Jacksonville and Class A Advanced Jupiter, during which he’s posted an 0.64 ERA across 42 1/3 frames. Overall, Peters has compiled 99 strikeouts against 19 walks in 118 2/3 innings (22 starts), and opposing hitters have taken him deep just twice.

Duel of the day: Anderson Espinoza (Padres’ No. 1) vs. Triston McKenzie (Indians’ No. 7), Fort Wayne vs. Lake County (1:05 p.m. ET)

Espinoza, No. 18 on the Top 100, is in search of his first win as a member of the Padres organization after coming over from the Red Sox in exchange for Drew Pomeranz on July 15. In five starts for Class A Fort Wayne, the flame-throwing 18-year-old is 0-2 with a 4.38 ERA, though he has fanned 16 batters in 21 2/3 innings. All …
