UFC 202 results: Larkin destroys Magny, Covington stops Griffin, Vettori chokes out Uda

It was a UFC Fight Pass preliminary card filled with stoppages to kick off UFC 202: Diaz vs. McGregor 2 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The most impressive performance undoubtedly belonged to Lorenz Larkin, who ripped Neil Magny to shreds in a fantastic performance. Here’s how the fights played out.
Lorenz Larkin def. Neil Magny via TKO (elbows) at 4:08 of round 1 – Welterweights
Larkin had early success with his kicking game in the opening minute. A body kick put Magny flat on his backside and had him reeling. This was just pure domination from “The Monsoon.” Hard leg kicks and oblique kicks to the body. Crisp striking all around and excellent takedown defense. Magny was hobbled with his lead leg getting battered, wobbled by Larkin’s punches, and short on ideas as Larkin relentlessly picked him apart. Any time Magny flopped to the ground, Larkin would have him stand back up. A desperate Magny shot in for a takedown from way too far out, Larkin countered with brutally concussive elbows to the side of the head and capped off a brilliant performance with a first round TKO.
