Enrique hails ‘complete game’

Barcelona manager Luis Enrique described his side’s 6-2 thrashing of Real Betis as the “complete game”.

Luis Suarez scored a hat-trick and Lionel Messi netted a double after Arda Turan put the La Liga champions ahead at the Nou Camp on Saturday.

Ruben Castro equalised for the visitors and scored a late consolation but the strikes failed to take the gloss off the Catalans’ first match of their title defence. 

Manager Enrique, who was without seven first-team players including Andres Iniesta, Javier Mascherano and Neymar, said it was the perfect start to his side’s campaign.
