- Updated: August 19, 2016
Limassol Marathon GSO organisers have created a range of discounts and packages to encourage running clubs to enter one of Europe’s most exciting international events taking place on March 19, 2017.
With a 50% discount on the race registration fee and exclusive group packages that include accommodation and race day support, Cyprus’ largest sporting event is an attractive option for running clubs wishing to race overseas while enjoying a weekend away.
The packages can be booked for any length of stay and are designed to provide a hassle-free and high-quality race experience for athletes and their families.
The packages include: discounted race registration fee; the lowest accommodation rates (including 3-star hotels, luxury 5-star hotels and family-friendly options) with half board or full board options; transportation to the start line; the official Limassol Marathon t-shirt and race packs delivered to the hotel on arrival. All packages can be booked in easy steps via the event website.
Running clubs can enjoy additional features such as an exclusive meeting spot at the Limassol Marathon Area before the race, a running club flag at the Running Club Area on race day, a featured article about their club on the Limassol Marathon website and social media, and the option for all running club members to stay at the same hotel if desired.
The appeal of Limassol Marathon GSO goes beyond finances and logistics, however. There are plenty of other reasons why each year over 13,000 participants, ranging from beginners to club runners and elite athletes, travel to Limassol to enjoy this international sporting event.
