Konta crashes out in Cincinnati

Johanna Konta’s wait to break into the top 10 of the WTA rankings goes on after she was knocked out of the Western & Southern Open by Agnieszka Radwanska.
The Brit began brightly against her Polish opponent and won a one-sided tie break 7-1 to take an early advantage.
She claimed just four more games, however, as Radwanska came back to secure a 6-7 6-4 6-0 victory.
Konta needed to reach at least the semi-finals in Cincinnati to have a chance of moving into the top 10 for the first time.
Instead, the current 13th-ranked player fell short of a spot in the quarters as she lost …
