Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, August 19, 2016 – The mission is complete for Alison Cerutti and Bruno Oscar Schmidt as the Brazilians validated their success from winning the 2015 FIVB World Championships to capture the Beach Volleyball gold medal at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games here early Friday morning with a two-set victory over Daniele Lupo and Paolo Nicolai of Italy.
