Indians chip away, sneak by Sox on walk-off

CLEVELAND — The Indians overcame a rough return for Danny Salazar, chipping away at the White Sox lead and pulling off a 5-4 walk-off victory on Thursday night at Progressive Field. Tyler Naquin provided the decisive blow, delivering a game-winning sacrifice fly in the bottom of the ninth inning.
With the win, the first-place Indians improved to 33-17 against American League Central opponents and remained six games ahead of the Tigers in the standings.
