Corbin discusses path to Majors on ‘Play Ball’

SAN DIEGO — D-backs left-hander Patrick Corbin will be featured Saturday on “Play Ball,” a new weekly show on MLB Network that is geared toward kids.
Corbin, who taped the episode with host Harold Reynolds when the team was in New York last week, will discuss his childhood and unique path to the big leagues. The show begins at 7 a.m. MST. and will re-air at 10 a.m. MST.
Growing up in Syracuse, N.Y., basketball was Corbin’s first love.
