The last time the Minnesota Vikings met the Seattle Seahawks, they lost 10-9 at home in frigid conditions January 10 when kicker Blair Walsh missed a potential game-winning 27-yard field goal with 22 seconds left.
A lot less will be on the line Thursday night in Seattle when the Seahawks host the Vikings as three-point home favorites at sportsbooks monitored by Odds Shark.
Minnesota closed as a 4.5-point home underdog in the last meeting and still covered the spread, although the losing result still stung. Seattle held running back Adrian Peterson to 45 yards on 23 carries, and he sat out the team’s preseason opener against the Cincinnati Bengals last Friday with a sore hamstring.
