The British No 1 defended his men’s singles title by defeating Juan Martin del Potro in Sunday’s final and will resume his relentless schedule with a second round match against Juan Monaco in America, live on Sky Sports.
Given the rain delays and Murray’s punishing few weeks, the world number two, who is the top seed in the absence of Novak Djokovic, is not scheduled to be on court until 1.30am on Thursday at the earliest.
