‘Gavin looking above Galahad’

Dave Coldwell has quickly shut down Kid Galahad’s hopes of getting a crack at Gavin McDonnell.
Galahad’s trainer Dominic Ingle had told Sky Sports about their ambition to box either of the McDonnell twins, but their coach Coldwell has poured cold water on the idea.
The WBC’s super-bantamweight rankings rate Gavin McDonnell below champion Hugo Ruiz and No 1 contender Rey Vargas, so Coldwell is focusing on pursuing the world title.
