Leslie Smith thanks UFC for help with tumor, explains situation

A few days ago, UFC women’s bantamweight Leslie Smith alarmed many folks when she spoke of a tumor she has on her stomach. When talking about a possible fighter union, she discussed how the UFC’s health insurance covers injuries sustained in the cage or in training, but didn’t cover things like her tumor. And she doesn’t have the money to get it checked out.
Today though, it seems that the UFC has contacted her in regards to offering assistance. Smith …
