West Ham capacity set at 57,000

West Ham have had their safety certificate approved for increased capacity of up to 57,000 people for their first Premier League game at their new home.
The club had sought approval for a 60,000 capacity at the London stadium for the Sky Live game against Bournemouth and are still hoping to achieve that in the coming weeks but Newham Council has agreed an initial increase of 3,000 for this Sunday’s match.
