Jose Mourinho, Pep Guardiola and Antonio Conte all made winning starts to the new Premier League season in the opening weekend as Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea picked up victories.
There was no such winning start to the 2016-17 campaign for Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal as the Gunners were beaten 4-3 by Liverpool, while defending champions Leicester City were surprisingly downed 2-1 by newly promoted Hull City.
United take on Southampton in Week 2 as they look to make it a second win in two for Mourinho, while the Foxes and Arsenal go head-to-head, with both looking to get their first points of the season.

Friday’s clash at Old Trafford is likely to see the return of Paul Pogba in a United shirt after the Frenchman missed the Red Devils’ 3-1 opening win over Bournemouth through suspension.
However, the £89 million man already has competition for his place after Ander Herrera and Marouane Fellaini both played excellently against the Cherries in a 4-3-2-1 formation.
