Pep Guardiola takes charge of his first European tie at Manchester City as they travel to Steaua Bucharest for the first leg of their Champions League play-off on Tuesday.
Guardiola tasted victory in his first competitive match as head coach on Saturday, beating Sunderland 2-1 in the Premier League, but now attention turns to Europe as they look to put one foot in the group stages.
Joe Hart has been named in the 21-man squad to travel to Romania, but Yaya Toure, who did not make the bench against Sunderland, has again been left out.
Hart’s omission from the starting XI on Saturday raised many questions about his future under Guardiola, with Willy Caballero given the start in goal.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference at the Arena Nationala, Guardiola addressed the absence of Toure, saying: “He is a player of us and he is training amazing, but I was not sure if he was going to play, and so I prefer it if he stays there training in Manchester.
