De Vries wants Celtic starts

Dorus de Vries believes he can displace Craig Gordon from the Celtic team after signing a two-year deal with the club.
The Dutch goalkeeper has linked up with his former Swansea manager Brendan Rodgers in Glasgow following a move from Nottingham Forest.
De Vries maintains he has not made the switch with the intention of taking a place on the bench and is confident he can impress if called upon.
The 35-year-old said: “I’ve been told just to show what I have done in the past and compete because the goalkeepers here are good in their own right.
“I need to earn this jersey, it’s as simple as that. I need to train really hard then it is the manager’s decision.
