Hamburg memories to be recreated in Rio

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, August 15, 2016 – Over two months ago at the smart Major Hamburg in the European port city, two teams from Brazil competed against Beach Volleyball pairs from Germany and the United States for medals at the SWATCH Major Series event.
On Tuesday, those same four teams will be vying for Olympic glory at the start of the Rio 2016 “Summer” Games medal rounds as Brazilians Talita Antunes/Larissa Franca and Agatha Bednarczuk/Barbara Seixas will play Laura Ludwig/Kira Walkenhorst of Germany and April Ross/Kerri Walsh Jennings of the United States, respectively, in the Copacabana semi-finals.
