Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, August 14, 2016 – Korea defeated crowd favourites Cameroon 3-0 (25-16, 25-22, 25-20) in Pool A of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games women’s volleyball competition at Maracanazinho on Sunday.
Park Jeongah topped all scorers with 14 points, including 12 spikes and 2 aces, then Lee Jaeyong added 10 points for the Korean victory. Cameroonian captain Nana Tchoudjang led her team with 12 markers, including 11 spikes and a block.
