Dalhausser & Lucena gain quarter-final beach berth

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, August 14, 2015 – Phil Dalhausser and Nick Lucena of the United States won the eighth and final berth in the men’s Beach Volleyball quarter-finals by defeating Alexander Huber and Robin Seidl of Austria here early Sunday morning.
In defeating the Austrians for the third-straight time in as many international meetings, Dalhausser and Lucena improved their Rio Olympic match mark to 4-0 by scoring a 2-0 (21-14, 21-15) elimination win in 40 minutes over Huber and Seidl.
