Travis Frederick, Cowboys Agree to New Contract: Latest Details and Reaction

The Dallas Cowboys locked up one of their offensive line’s anchors Saturday by signing center Travis Frederick to a six-year, $56.4 million contract with $28 million guaranteed in the first three seasons, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Rand Getlin of NFL Network was the first to report Frederick would be made the league’s highest-paid center.
The 25-year-old Wisconsin alum has quickly developed into one of the NFL’s premier centers. He entered 2016 having started 48 of a possible 48 games in his career since the Cowboys selected him with the No. 31 overall pick in the 2013 NFL draft.
Frederick was named to the Pro Bowl in both 2014 and 2015, and he has been a standout performer despite sharing the line with two other perennial Pro Bowlers in Tyron Smith and Zack Martin.
