Bulgaria – Lukoil Academic Sofia inks Sasa Zagorac, ex Un.Olimpija

Sasa Zagorac Lukoil Academic Sofia (NBL) signed 32-year old Slovenian international power forward Sasa Zagorac (206-84). He was about to sign at Un.Olimpija in Slovenian Telemach League. The last season Zagorac played also at Union Olimpija Ljubljana (also in Telemach League). The team played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and he had a chance to explore basketball on different levels. In 16 Telemach League games he recorded 12.3ppg, 3.9rpg and 2.0apg. Zagorac helped them to make it to the semifinals. A very impressive season as he was named to Slovenian League All-Star Game. Zagorac also played 12 games in Eurocup where he averaged 11.4ppg, 3.8rpg and 1.3apg.
