Pardew backing Townsend

Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew is certain Andros Townsend’s move to Selhurst Park can kickstart his England career.
Townsend failed to make the final cut for Roy Hodgson’s Euro 2016 squad earlier in the summer despite the former England boss seemingly having a lack of wide midfield options.
Since that disappointment Townsend has joined Palace for £13m from Newcastle, where he showed improved form towards the end of the season in their failed bid to avoid relegation from the Premier League.
