Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has confirmed new signing Paul Pogba will not feature in Sunday’s trip to Bournemouth but will be ready for Friday’s home match with Southampton. He also made it clear the Red Devils are targeting the Premier League title this year.
The Special One was speaking in his first press conference at Old Trafford ahead of the new league season and was questioned on Pogba’s involvement, per United:

The Frenchman will miss the game through suspension and, according to the Mirror’s Jacob Murtagh, Mourinho explained: “I found out two days ago. I knew the situation with the yellow cards, but I didn’t know if an accumulation would bring a suspension.”
Because of his exploits with France this summer, Pogba does not have a full pre-season under his belt and so may well have not played anyway, but the suspension grants him another week of training with his new team-mates.
