World Champions get the round of 16 started against China

Rio de Janeiro, August 12, 2016 – World Champions, Agatha Bednarczuk/Barbara Seixas of Brazil start off the round of 16 against China’s Fan Wang/Yuan Yue in the eighth meeting between the two teams on the FIVB Tour.  The Brazilians have won six of the seven matches, but the two teams haven’t played each other since September, 2015.  The winner will advance to the quarterfinals, and the loser will be eliminated with a 9th-place finish.
