Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, August 11, 2016 – With their back against the wall, USA delivered to beat Brazil 3-1 (25-20, 25-23, 20-25, 25-20) and get back in the race for a ticket to the men’s volleyball quarterfinals of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games – at the same time denying the hosts an early ticket.Although Brazil could have mathematically qualified tonight if they had won, the result further complicates the situation in what has been dubbed the ‘pool of death’.
