13th place for Ellie Downie in women’s Olympic all-around final

Team GB’s Ellie Downie has finished in 13th place in the women’s gymnastics Olympic all-around final in Rio.
Ellie began well with an impressive vault (15.100) and floor (14.300) and then moved on to bars hoping to continue her good form, unfortunately however she struggled to keep momentum half way through her routine and put her knee down on her double straight back dismount to score 13.783. Heading to beam she went for broke with her most difficult routine. It was solid throughout with impressive work, however she unfortunately had too much power on her upgraded double Arabian dismount and had to count a fall scoring 13.700.
