Celtic use goal line technology

Celtic will use goal line technology in their Champions League play-off tie against Hapoel Be’er Sheva next Wednesday.
UEFA voted to adopt the Hawk-Eye system earlier this year. It was installed in all 10 stadia used during Euro 2016 in France and will now be a feature of the Champions League from the play-off round onwards.
The Hawk-Eye system, which is already in use in the English, German and Italian leagues, has seven cameras in each goal with control software tracking the ball within the goal area.
