Arsenal Transfer News: Latest Mesut Ozil and Shkodran Mustafi Rumours

Arsenal could see one German star arrive while another leaves this summer following reports Mesut Ozil is ready to return to Real Madrid “immediately,” while Shkodran Mustafi may be nearing a Gunners move.

According to German newspaper Bild, Ozil is prepared to make a hasty return to the Santiago Bernabeu should Los Blancos come calling, news that’s sure to disappoint the playmaker’s current fans (h/t Metro’s Mark Brus).

Ozil left the Spanish capital for north London in 2013, and Real have since gone on to win the UEFA Champions League on two occasions, reminding the Germany international of what he’s missing out on.

Amid speculation of a return to Madrid, however, Ozil recently posted an image to his official Twitter account that suggested he’s excited to get back underway with the Gunners:
