Kell Brook says he is feeling “fantastic” after weighing in right on the 176lbs check weight limit with exactly a month to go until his showdown with Gennady Golovkin.
Brook (36-0-KO25), the reigning IBF welterweight champion, is preparing to challenge fellow undefeated fighter and WBA ‘Super’, IBF and WBC middleweight champion Golovkin (35-0-KO32) at The O2 on September 10, live on Sky Sports Box Office.
Both men were required to weigh in on Wednesday, 31 days before the bout, and could afford to be 10 per cent over the fight weight limit of 160lbs, with Golovkin tipping the scales at 165lbs.
