$500,000 Online Grand Prix in Full Swing; partypoker Adds to Roster

One of the many positives stemming from the partnership between partypoker and Dusk Till Dawn (DTD) is the launch of the Grand Prix Poker Tour (GPPT), a series of live tournaments held at football stadiums around the United Kingdom, costing $109 to enter and featuring a $250,000 guaranteed prize pool.
These GPPT tournaments are hybrids, for want of a better word, allowing players to play several Day 1s online at partypoker, live in partner casinos or the stadium, and then complete the tournament in a live setting.
They have been hugely popular with recreational and professional poker players alike, as has the Online Grand Prix, one of which is in full swing right now.
As the name suggests, the Online Grand Prix is the online version of the GPPT. Partypoker and DTD want to eventually host an online leg with a $1 million guarantee and are getting to this magical number by increasing the guarantee by $100,000 on each online leg every time the guarantee is met.
