Time Test misses International

Fair Eva will spearhead Roger Charlton’s team for the Welcome To Yorkshire Ebor Festival after he was forced to rule Time Test out of the Juddmonte International.
The four-year-old was a leading fancy for Wednesday’s Group One feature having won the Sky Bet York Stakes over course and distance last month.
However the trainer told his website www.rogercharlton.com: “Time Test will not be running in the Juddmonte International at York next week.
“We weren’t totally happy with his work this morning. He is likely to be given a short break before any future plans are made.”
When interviewed on Racing UK at Salisbury later in the day, Charlton expanded: “He worked with Countermeasure, his normal lead horse, this morning and certainly every time that he’s worked this year he moves up on the bridle and then quickens four or five lengths clear and has an impressive turn of foot as he’s shown in his …
